Join Pōhala founder Ke’oni Hanalei as we navigate the very real and contemporary saga of advancing from the 4th into the 5th world. From the Mū-Hawaiian perspective, humanity remains largely idle in the 4th world, a state defined by our persistent preoccupation with—and attachment to—the 4th dimension and the 4th element. It is precisely this attachment that undermines our ability to, as a collective, emerge into and truly excel within the 5th world, a realm characterized by the 5th element and the 5th dimension. The idea of the 5th element and the 5th dimension has sparked growing curiosity across the collective, and as we strive to envision and approach it we too often neglect the lingering 4th-world perceptions and ideals that continue to tether us. In this three-part series, we aim to trace those connections and translate them into concrete, practical practices that help release us from the limitations of the 4th world and open us to the promise of the 5th.

According to Mū-Hawaiian cosmology, the 5th world is governed by the 5th star lineage, KEOE (Lyra). Logistically, we consider this the “5th direction,” a guiding vector in both cosmological mapping and spiritual practice. In order to affirm the qualities of a 5th world, we investigate the energetic composition of Lyra in detail. In doing so, Lyra reveals the true nature of the 5th Element and the 5th Dimension, clarifying their vibrational signatures and symbolic meanings. During our exploration together, we will include Lyra as a navigating force and reference point for inquiry. Alternately, we must also explore the “4th direction,” the 4th star lineage of MAKALIʻI (Pleiades), to gain reference and contrast. Pleiades will showcase the qualities of the 4th world and provide a counterpoint to the 5th. As many of us know, Pleiades lies in the constellation of Taurus, an energy that relates to the element of EARTH and is rich in artistry, creativity, stability, and material expression. However, at what point does stability turn into a dependence on predictability and control?

THE 4th ELEMENT IS EARTH

As we are drawn into a wholly 4th world perspective, we find ourselves simultaneously enmeshed in the 4th element of EARTH. Themes such as materiality, measurement, infrastructure, carbon, iron, artistry, and artifacts become gateways into possession and attachment. It is this 4th world perspective of clinging and ownership that carries us into the long saga of suffering. Suffering is fundamentally a 4th world experience. We hold the lessons and seductions of the EARTH element while remaining bound by its trappings and constraints. In the 4th element, we are wholly involved in matter, and the idea that we must continue to evolve to no end. This very idea is what leads to transhumanism. As we materialize outside of us, we become obsessed with possessing more, with extending ourselves into objects and machines, and with measuring value by accumulation rather than by inner balance.. For many, the profanity has grown so intense that we now perceive Earth itself as if it is a possession.

THE 4th DIMENSION IS TIME

Time is the ultimate addiction. As artists, we require measure and rhythm in order to build, design, mold, calibrate, and NAME. As we name, we possess. Everything that is named must be archived in time, placed within a chronology that gives it context and permanence. Time becomes the very medium that allows us to perpetuate a relationship with our possessions and attachments. We find ourselves caught in a loop of our own artistry and artifacts, defined and limited by what can be possessed. This leads to a catastrophic attachment to the fourth element of EARTH. Humanity is now experiencing an inversion to which there is no more growth to be made; our extension has reached its ultimate goal, and we begin to reverse course back toward our origin.

THE 5th ELEMENT IS GRAVITY

We rejoice in remembering that the heart is a force of gravity and that Heart Coherence is our recognition that each of us is among the strongest gravitational forces in this vast universe. It is here, within Heart Coherence, that we truly unite and align. We understand that extending outward from the heart into the purely material world is largely a fourth-world experience; unity consciousness is not ultimately found in attempts to assimilate within the realms of matter. Instead, our true unification occurs in the subtler, quantum realms accessed when we draw inward to our own hearts — a returning, a coming home of awareness and connection. Here, within our hearts, we come to realize and share an experience closely resembling that of a black hole; we touch the ATEMPORAL, that which exists beyond the bounds and governance of time.

THE 5th DIMENSION IS TIMELESSNESS

Because the 5th element of gravity achieves the atemporal, we now remember that the 5th dimension is TIMELESSNESS. We have reconciled all measure and relinquished attachments to that which we name and archive in time. The immense speed and stillness of timelessness resembles the focal point of a torsion, where transfiguration becomes actualized, and we usher ourselves through into another iteration of intelligence, entering a renewed awareness free of the possibility of being captured.

THE GRAND SEQUENCE

In our maiden voyage, we honor the dimensional and elemental sequence as prescribed by the Mū-Hawaiians, acknowledging their attuned cosmological framework. We will also include the wisdom of countless indigenous cultures from around the world, who often concur that humanity is presently situated within a 4th world and remains attached to 4th elemental and dimensional patterns. By providing context for this grand sequence, we can more clearly fathom how the 4th world functions as a pivotal stage in our collective spiritual maturation, and why its necessary transition into the 5th world exemplifies underlying cosmic order and universal law.

THE CONFINES OF A 4th WORLD (Atlantis)

Our 2nd ceremony will traverse the themes of a 4th-world fascination, fixation, and obsession. Attachments to time, infrastructure, possessions, suffering, and the wound of “loss” will illuminate how the 4th world is at once monumental in providing opportunities for spiritual maturity and profoundly challenging on the inner path. There is growing consensus that 4th-world involvement echoes the narratives of ATLANTIS, and that our engagement with the 4th element and the 4th dimension are its defining qualities. As our obsession with the 4th world persists, we discover ourselves looping through time and repeating the Atlantean pattern to the point of catastrophic exhaustion.

THE GRAVITY OF THE 5th WORLD

We culminate in absolute delight in the memory of our 5th world potential, embracing its promise with awe and reverence. In the stunning accomplishment of the spiritual maturity achieved by the challenge of the 4th world, we unite in that which is beyond measure, drawn together by a shared, expansive knowing. We have relinquished attachments to suffering and loss, letting go of attachment with gentle resolve. There is nothing owed, no ledger remaining to be balanced. The force of gravity, pulling from each of our hearts, opens us to the wisdom of true unity consciousness, that deeper field beyond the reach of a measured world susceptible to possession. What is it like to live in the 5th dimension and the 5th element? Together, we announce it!
